FashionPuglia involves young designers from all over Italy through aTuttaModa contest.
Mer From March 1, 2017 to Mon 24 April, 2017 interested designers can register for free by sending their sketches and presentation material in the manner prescribed by regulation.
At the end of the contest, a panel of industry professionals will examine the applications received and will select the eight finalists who will present their creations on stage at the festival FashionPuglia.

Admission Requirements
The competitors:
They must be aged between 18 and 35 years old;
They may be graduates or graduates of academies, universities and / or State and Private Schools or be a professional fashion designers, pattern makers, fashion professionals and self-taught;
They allowed as single or in pairs;
They must be able to present a capsule of women's fashion, on any subject, from which it emerges his own interpretation of women's fashion with:
creative ability;
tailoring capacity;
stylistic coherence;
careful choice of fabrics;
the perfect fit of the garments;
The collection may be published or unpublished and must be composed of n. 7 figures.

Mode of Participation
Registration for the contest is free.
From Wed 1 March 2017 concerned designers should send their applications exclusively through the online application form, to fill in all fields. Applications must be received within 24 hours of Monday April 24, 2017 and include the following attachments:
Curriculum vitae of the candidate in the European format and indication of possible participation in previous competitions, fashion shows, fashion awards, etc. (.pdf format).
1 Color Digital Passport photo (.jpg format);
Data Sheet 7 sketches of the capsules with: n. 7 sketches, each of which subscribed and realized with free techniques; Technical card of the individual appear indicating the creative project, fabrics, colors, materials and accessories;
You will also participate with a non-original collection. Therefore, if the clothes have already been made, you can attach no. 1 photo for each head.

Please note:
The clothes to be implemented or completed should correspond perfectly to the n collection. Figures 7 and sent to the summary sheet. The sizes on which you should base the clothes are: Women's size 38/40;
By signing the material presented, the participant assumes responsibility for the originality of the sketches, the properties of the photographic material, in respect of trademarks, copyrights and anything which concerns the artistic and intellectual properties.

FINALISTS
The documents described above will be assessed within 30 days after the close of nominations from FashionPuglia Commission, assisted by a technical panel of qualified persons in the fashion industry which, at its sole discretion, will produce the ranking of merit of the participants festival. The list of top 8 finalists will be published on the website: www.fashionpuglia.com.
The Top 8 finishers will participate in FashionPuglia 2017, planned in Freedom Square in Ostuni between late July and early August (date of the event will be announced by May).
Finalists is precluded the possibility to remove the clothes of their capsules on other catwalks in the 30 days prior to the event and in the 15 days following the same, they will be excluded from the event.
By June, the finalists undertake to give an indication of 2/3 individual audio tracks to be used during the parade of their own women's fashion caps, at the discretion of the Artistic Direction of FashionPuglia. The music tracks must include the title, author and the minutes in length and should be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. Finalists agree to show up in the clothes of the collection by 10.00 am of the day of the Test Fitting. In addition to the products leaders, finalists undertake to take along the related accessories that deem necessary. Each dress will be full of hangers and storage (indicated by your name and surname), and accompanied by a photo and / or explanatory drawing of the model. The stands, the make-up artist and hair stylists will be provided by the organization.
After the event finalist agrees to withdraw all of its material properties.

COST OF PARTICIPATION FINALISTS
To participate in the final selection, the Top 8 finalists, both esssingle or in pairs, will have to make a single payment of € 290.00 (two hundred and ninety euro) as a contribution organizzativo.Il payment, followed by regular receipt, it must be made by bank transfer within and not later than 7 days To corresponding confirmation appointment of a finalist. RE shoes - Patrizio Dolci of the Confort Shoes company

The footwear Made in Italy brand Patrizio Dolci of the Confort Shoes company, in collaboration with 3DItaly, launches a creative contest devoted to fashion shoes design for the realization of a new footwear concept to be designed and presented to the next international trade fair season.
The contest purpose is to open the company doors to the young fashion designers world community, to prototype original ideas by bringing new visions together with the skilled craftmanship of ...the Made in Italy footwear along with the materials research and, in the end, to bring together additive manufacturing so as to prototype rapidly the new concepts. COMPETITION RULES
Art. 1 - ORGANISATION The competition is promoted by Mittelmoda International Lab in collaboration with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, SMI - Sistema Moda Italia, Fondazione Industrie Cotone Lino and Milano Unica.
Art. 2 - APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS The competition is open to the following categories: • students in their last year at college (undergraduate and post-graduate level) who will graduate (or get a Diploma) in 2017 as fashion designers. • young fashion designers either graduates of Fashion Colleges or in their early career - in house or selfemployed
Art. 3 - PRE-ENTRIES All candidates must pre-register on-line by completing the application form to be found on http://www.mittelmoda.com/ under ‘To Apply’, no later than 31st March 2017.Art. 4 - ENTRIES Once pre-registration is granted, the candidate will be required to submit ALL the following qualifying documentation to the Mittelmoda offices, to arrive no later than 15th April 2017:• a printed copy of the application form, typed out in every part, signed and completed with a personal passport size photograph. The application can be downloaded from http:// www.mittelmoda.com/ in the section ‘To Apply’ • a signed and dated copy of this COMPETITION RULES document;• a professionally BOUND portfolio in A4 format (cm 21x29,7) containing: the drawings - in two copies (or coloured photocopies) - of a minimum of 5 OUTFITS complete with ACCESSORIES 1 outfit of the enrolled collection must have a “touch of red” in order to be eligible for the Lectra Special Award (see Art.7 for brief and details). Each drawing must be NUMBERED and marked at the back with the NAME and SURNAME of the designer and its COMPLETE TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION on the back, in no more than 250 words. Each accessory must clearly match with a numbered outfit; a text detailing the concept of the collection in no more than 250 words; colour specifications and fabric samples; a detailed CV (typed in English); for students: a photocopy of their degree (if already in possession of the candidate) or a certificate proving they are attending college; for fashion designers: a certificate proving they are actually working as professional designers, for their own or other fashion companies; any article and/or feature about the participant appeared on magazine/s (if any); personal promotional cards and business cards (optional). It is also possible to send personalized presentations differing from the required one but only as additional material;
• possibly a prototype of 1 item of the collection (optional); NB. Submitted portfolios (compulsory) and prototypes (optional) will not be sent back for any reason and they will become part of the permanent archive of Mittelmoda International Lab. Candidates are advised to send copies of the originals if this is an issue.

• a CD-Rom, clearly marked with the candidate’s name, containing:

• scans of the drawings, digital photographs and/or other visual assets pertinent to the participating and - if appropriate - previous collections, complete with accessories; These must be separated into two separate folders, clearly labelled ‘72 dpi’ (containing 72dpi files of approximately 15x10 cm) and ‘300 dpi’ (containing the same images in 300 dpi and approximately 30x20 cm); Very important: a high quality (better if in full HD) short video of self-presentation about personal and professional experience.

If any of the above items is missing or late, participation will be denied. All material must reach our offices by 15th APRIL 2017
In order to avoid delays or losses, the Organisation encourages participants to submit their entries by courier or by priority mail, specifying that the content of the packages is of no commercial value. Please remember to declare responsibility for custom fees by ticking the apposite box on the shipment document, as Mittelmoda will not pay custom fees on arrival and will therefore be forced to refuse the shipment. Therefore, candidates are asked to send material which is suitable for promotional purposes (files saved in jpeg and/or in tiff at 300 dpi). The organisation will not use material which does not correspond to the required format and indications, even when belonging to selected finalists.
Art. 5 - OUTFITS ENTERED CREATION: The garments and the accessories presented for the competition must correspond exactly to the drawings and to the specifications enrolled and must be made by the designers themselves. Correct and accurate execution of the garments is essential.CREATION: The outfits presented must be:

FABRICS: Any fabric or material may be used. STYLE: Designers may choose among the following styles: high-fashion, ready-to-wear, avant-garde/ experimental, street style, jeun créateur. SEASON: Participants are free to choose the season they prefer. EXCLUSION-CONTROVERSIES: The Organisation has the right to exclude from the competition those garments or accessories which are not made according to the Competition Rules. The resolution of any possible controversy will be dealt with by an arbitral board consisting of one member from each party and a third member appointed by the Presiding Judge of Gorizia. Art. 6 - SELECTIONS In April a Jury will examine all the material received. The results will be promptly published online on www.mittelmoda.com under the ‘News’ section and all selected candidates will be immediately notified by the organizers and will receive a detailed programme, including all the necessary information on their stay during the Mittelmoda finals. Each participant is responsible for providing his/her complete contact details and notifying the Organization of any change. Selected candidates will be invited to take part in the finals and will be asked to create their collections (OUTFITS + ACCESSORIES) to be shown on Mittelmoda’s catwalk in a collective fashion show (date and place to be confirmed - . All the candidates are informed that, in case of selection for the competition finals, they will be asked to promptly provide the organisers with one or two photographs of outfits + accessories belonging to the collection enrolled in the competition and/or any other photographic, video or multimedia material according to the timing and needs requested by the organisers being the signing of these regulations binding in this sense. The Organisation reserves the right to exclude any selected contestant from participation is the above-mentioned rule is not respected. All the works (outfits + accessories) enrolled by the finalists will be presented to the jury and submitted to their judging for the awarding of the prizes. Contestants will have to hand in their collections complete with accessories upon their arrival at the Mittelmoda’s location; each outfit will have to be hung on a hanger (with corresponding name and surname) in a plastic dress cover (with corresponding name and surname) together with a photo and/or a sketch of the same outfit. We inform that on a general level it will not be possible to send the collection in advance by courier.Art. 7 - JURY AND PRIZES The contest jury will include renowned national and international fashion experts. Selection criteria will include: creativity, international and feasibility. Please note that in case of internships and collaborations offered by fashion houses and companies, either by those which are members of the Mittelmoda International Lab and by others which are not, Mittelmoda will offer its support and collaboration for the best management of the contacts and agreements between the parts but it will not be responsible for problems or dissatisfactions which might incur between the parties. Art. 8 - ACCOMMODATION AND TRAVELS EXPENSES Accommodation and travels expenses will be covered personally by the finalists themselves. Art. 9 - OWNERSHIP OF THE GARMENTS All the garments will remain property of the participants, though Mittelmoda reserves all publishing rights. Besides, the Organisation, upon their authorization, reserves the right to keep the garments and the material sent by the finalists for a maximum of six months, to be able to submit them to the examination of fashion houses, for fashion shows, for press and television features, for exhibitions or other possible occasions aiming at promoting both the event and the designers. Art. 10 - RESPONSIBILITIES Mittelmoda International Lab cannot be held responsible for any damage or theft of garments or designs that may occur during transport, selections, or during the event or during the period in which the garments are kept (see Article 9). Art. 11 - FASHION SHOW The final award fashion show will take place accordingly to the organization’s agreements with its partners (date and place to be confirmed - the exact address of the location will be communicated through the website to all the selected finalists). Art. 12 - ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE Designers selected for the competition will be sent a detailed programme and all relevant information for their arrival and permanence for the event immediately after the selections in April 2017. Art. 13 - ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATIONS The signing of these regulations and of the related application form implies their full acceptance (art. 1-13).

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION AT 27 ° NATIONAL COMPETITION CAREER FASHION YOUNG DESIGNERS

The competition is promoted and supported by CNA Federmoda (Union of the fashion industry enterprises of the National Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium Enterprises)

ORGANIZATION OF THE COMPETITION
The competition is divided into 6 sections of the product, it provides the selection of the proposals received, the selection of the finalists, the designation of the winners of the sections and the entire year 2017, with the allocation of fixed prizes and special characters. The final stage of the event place from 3 to 10 July 2017 in Rome in collaboration with AltaRoma.

REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS 'OF PARTICIPATION
The Competition is open to all students enrolled in their final year of public and private institutes or at university faculties and who are under 25 years of age 31.12.2016.
NOT can participate who was a finalist in the last two editions of the competition. You will NOT be accepted the proposals developed in a group or team. It will NOT be taken into consideration the resulting material incomplete or does not meet the conditions indicated in this notice.

COMPETITORS WILL PRODUCE
A) six proposals (sketches) of as many new models (forced dimensions 21 x 30 - A4) with attached relevant technical data sheet (description of the processes and materials). The six proposals (sketches), with dimensions of cm. 21 x 30 and with a resolution of 150 dpi, may also be submitted in computerized form.
B) a brief personal profile with highlight: residential address, e-mail and telephone numbers.
C) two electronic format pictures (one in the foreground and a full-length).
D) copy of the certificate of registration to the last year of study. E) a photocopy of an identity document.
F) only for competitors who have not come of age: the regulatory approval of a parent or legal guardian.
CONTENT OF THE COMPETITION

SECTION 1. CLOTHING
MAKE PROPOSALS ARE DEDICATED TO SPRING SUMMER 2018. SPECIFIED ON THE BOARD: SECTION CLOTHING. This section is organized in collaboration with the Max Mara Group. PRIZE: a stage-study at a company in the sector, with a scholarship of 1.000,00 euro.

SECTION 2. CHILD CLOTHES MAKE PROPOSALS ARE DEDICATED TO SPRING SUMMER 2018. SPECIFIED ON THE BOARD: SECTION BABY CLOTHING. PRIZE: a stage-study at a company in the sector, with a scholarship of 1.000,00 euro.

3. SECTION PELLICCERIA BUILD SIX PROPOSALS DEDICATED AT AUTUMN WINTER 2018 - 2019. The proposed models must be designed in natural fur and creations will be made starting from vintage fur. The competitor may bring coats or clothing in general, as long as the models are made in total extent or mainly in fur. The competitor is required to design the six proposals by building on a raw material patchwork of materials and possibly different colors. Its task is the design of the model, the volumes and the look; it is for the technical furrier who will join the competitor for the realization of the leaders obtain the raw material from openly vintage fur, cut and assemble to get the required effect, demonstrating with this operation of the combination of creativity and technique as one o'clock should work with the other and how the fur is a natural raw material and totally upcycling. SECTION 4. KNITTING
MAKE PROPOSALS ARE DEDICATED TO SPRING SUMMER 2018. SPECIFIED ON THE BOARD: SECTION KNITTING. PRIZE: a stage-study at a company in the sector, with a scholarship of 1.000,00 euro.

5. SECTION underwear and beachwear
MAKE PROPOSALS ARE DEDICATED TO SPRING SUMMER 2018. SPECIFIED ON THE BOARD: SECTION UNDERWEAR / SEA. PRIZE: a stage-study at a company in the sector, with a scholarship of 1.000,00 euro.

6. SECTION ACCESSORIES, LEATHER GOODS AND SHOES - MAKE PROPOSALS ARE DEDICATED TO SPRING SUMMER 2018. SPECIFIED ON THE BOARD: SECTION ACCESSORIES, LEATHER GOODS AND FOOTWEAR. PRIZE: a stage-study at a company in the sector, with a scholarship of 1.000,00 euro.

The winners of each section of the competition and their leaders will be dedicated to a special display at the Salone TheOneMilano (Fieramilanocity 22-25 September 2017), so that designers can meet the exhibitors of the fair and show their work and their portfolio in order to enable business contacts and practical exchanges between creativity and the production world. The costs for the preparation of the area and for the designers stay in Milan (one night and two days during the show) will be charged to the organization.

THE WINNER OF THE 2017 EDITION COMPETITION Lectra will receive the Special Award for Design: a Kaledo Style license with its formation, the total value of 6,000 Euro *. Lectra * The license can only be used for private use, it is not transferable and can not be used by companies. The license will be valid 2 years.
SPECIAL AWARDS: SPECIAL AWARD FOR BEST PROPOSAL IN MODELING Backed by I.A.C.D.E. Italy (International Association of Clothing Designers and Executive). PRIZE: Sculpture, glass, manufacture of Murano. An industry expert technical committee will select all the proposals submitted and will designate the competitors intended to participate in the workshops and the final event of the competition to be held in Rome in July 2017. The communication of the designations will be given directly to the parties concerned and to institutes of belonging of the selected competitors who consequently will proceed to the packaging of their two heads selected by the Committee, so exactly conforms to the proposals presented. They will then send them to the Competition Secretary no later than 30 June 2017. All drawings submitted for the Competition will be by right considered the Organization's property and will not be returned. As far as the leaders selected and implemented for the finals, while remaining the property of the organization will be left free loan to the finalist user who agrees to make them available on request to CNA Federmoda. The return of the leaders will be made after the event. This applies to all product sections except Fur whose garments will remain with the Organization. For competitors designated worth the effort to report in their CVs and other documents relating to any subsequent participation in fashion shows their prerogative of finalists of the Competition National Profession Young Fashion Designers - RMI 2017 sponsored and organized by CNA Federmoda. The finalists will be invited to attend the workshop "MASTER IN FASHION DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE"
realized by CNA FEDERMODA. All the above services will be borne by the Organization, including the accommodation of only the finalists during the final stage of the event.

The footwear Made in Italy brand Patrizio Dolci of the Confort Shoes company, in collaboration with 3DItaly, launches a creative contest devoted to fashion shoes design for the realization of a new footwear concept to be designed and presented to the next international trade fair season.
The contest purpose is to open the company doors to the young fashion designers world community, to prototype original ideas by bringing new visions together with the skilled craftmanship of the Made in Italy footwear along with the materials research and, in the end, to bring together additive manufacturing so as to prototype rapidly the new concepts. The areas concerned are: P-à-P Women Accessories (bags, shoes, hats, jewelry).
PARTICIPANTS
They are open to all new Italian talents that:
• produce its own collection in Italy and ensure its distribution (at least one store or e-commerce platform);
• have made no more than two / three collections but have not been able to continue for financial reasons. Competitors must be eighteen (18 th) birthday. It is only allowed the designers participating (natural persons)
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Each candidate must send a single envelope containing:
• brand profile
• designer profile
• line sheet last two images collections of collections already implemented, video on USB support any presentations or any material related to their collections
• mood boards, sketches, images, text, tissue sampling to describe and justify their own style and the choices for the new S / S 2018 collection
• full address and number of outlets in which have already been presented or sold their leaders or any presentations by retailers, journalists, designers and industrialists who have already seen the collection. Statements made in the application form will have to be properly documented
• entry form and acceptance of the rules, duly completed and signed, which can be downloaded from the site www.altaroma.it
• statement - if the designer uses a registered trade mark - exclusive ownership of the mark. In case of the trade mark it is necessary to enclose a duly completed form of participation for each holder. In the case of ownership of the mark by a company, the participation of the designer / designers is allowed only if the latter / the latter holds / hold a qualified stake in the company cumulatively not less than 20% (you must attach business profile Chambers). The participant must in any case state that you are authorized to use the trademark.
NB: In case of collections created jointly by several designers you need to fill out an entry form for each designer to be included in the same envelope. All texts should be included in the documentation both in Italian and English, and both paper and digital.
The material will not be returned under any circumstances. The envelope containing the material must be sent, under penalty of exclusion from the procedure, no later than the deadline of 12:00 on the 1st April 2017 to the following address: via Humility 48, cap 00187, Rome. The package must be properly closed and sealed and bear outside the header of the sender, the address of the same, and the following wording: ALTAROMA - Project "Who is on Next? Women's "The package must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or by private courier or authorized delivery agency that is able to issue a declaration indicating the date of taking charge of the envelope itself. The delivery of the envelope remains at the sole risk of the sender if, for any reason, the same does not reach its destination. Will not be taken into account the offers that were received bringing the date of shipment and / or postmarked after the deadline.
COMMISSION AND JURY A Commission, made up of appointed Altaroma and Vogue Italy, will chair the selection of finalists, while the jury, composed of the same members of the Integrated Committee of stakeholders (manufacturers, distributors and Italian and foreign retailers) and the Italian press and international, will be responsible for designating the winners. By 1 June 2017 will be selected, at the discretion of the Commission, up to a maximum total of twelve finalists from the 2 areas PAP women and accessories. The results will be communicated to all the finalists by letter and subsequently disseminated a press release. The outcome of the selection will be publicized on the website dedicated to the project (website Altaroma and on the website of Vogue Italy). It will not be prepared a list of the excluded. The jury will have the task to choose the winners and indicate, in its sole discretion, up to a maximum of three winners of the two areas of interest for the project. The winners will also be recognized in only one area of ​​the project. They will be recognized any special mentions. PRESENTATION During the event Altaroma July 2017 the Jury will examine, during a trunkshow, collections of finalists for a preliminary technical evaluation. As part of the calendar of Altaroma July 2017 for all finalists of the PAP woman Altaroma cure and organize in all its parts an event / show de named "Who is on Next?" during which the finalists will present to the press and buyers in their mini collections (12 outfits preview of their Spring / Summer 2018 collection). FIL ROUGE LECTRA DEFILE

Lectra invites your students to participate in the "FIL ROUGE LECTRA DEFILE '' at the 24th edition of Mittelmoda.
Mittelmoda is one of the most famous international competitions dedicated to young designers. Born in 1993, Mittelmoda has developed an international network of contacts with over 620 fashion design schools in 66 countries, making it a distinct possibility of exchange and comparison for the international creativity.
Also this year there will be the Lectra contest called "Lectra Fil Rouge Defilé". In order to contribute to the "Lectra Fil Rouge Defilé", students will create a total look specifically for Lectra and must be characterized by "a touch of red." COMPETITION RULES
Art. 1 - ORGANISATION
The competition is promoted by Mittelmoda International Lab in collaboration with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, SMI - Sistema Moda Italia, Fondazione Industrie Cotone Lino and Milano Unica.
Art. 2 - APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
The competition is open to the following categories:
• students in their last year at college (undergraduate and post-graduate level) who will graduate (or get a Diploma) in 2017 as fashion designers.
• young fashion designers either graduates of Fashion Colleges or in their early career - in house or selfemployed
Art. 3 - PRE-ENTRIES
All candidates must pre-register on-line by completing the application form to be found on http://www.mittelmoda.com/ under ‘To Apply’, no later than 31st March 2017.
Art. 4 - ENTRIES
Once pre-registration is granted, the candidate will be required to submit ALL the following qualifying documentation to the Mittelmoda offices, to arrive no later than 15th April 2017:
• a printed copy of the application form, typed out in every part, signed and completed with a personal passport size photograph. The application can be downloaded from http://www.mittelmoda.com/ in the section ‘To Apply’;
• a signed and dated copy of this COMPETITION RULES document;
• a professionally BOUND portfolio in A4 format (cm 21x29,7) containing: the drawings - in two copies (or coloured photocopies) - of a minimum of 5 OUTFITS complete with ACCESSORIES.
1 outfit of the enrolled collection must have a “touch of red” in order to be eligible for the Lectra Special Award (see Art.7 for brief and details).
Each drawing must be NUMBERED and marked at the back with the NAME and SURNAME of the designer and its COMPLETE TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION on the back, in no more than 250 words. Each accessory must clearly match with a numbered outfit; a text detailing the concept of the collection in no more than 250 words; colour specifications and fabric samples; a detailed CV (typed in English); for students: a photocopy of their degree (if already in possession of the candidate) or a certificate proving they are attending college; for fashion designers: a certificate proving they are actually working as professional designers, for their own or other fashion companies; any article and/or feature about the participant appeared on magazine/s (if any); personal promotional cards and business cards (optional). It is also possible to send personalised presentations differing from the required one but only as additional material;
• possibly a prototype of 1 item of the collection (optional);
NB. Submitted portfolios (compulsory) and prototypes (optional) will not be sent back for any reason and they will become part of the permanent archive of Mittelmoda International Lab. Candidates are advised to send copies of the originals if this is an issue.
• a CD-Rom, clearly marked with the candidate’s name, containing:
• scans of the drawings, digital photographs and/or other visual assets pertinent to the participating and - if appropriate - previous collections, complete with accessories; These must be separated into two separate folders, clearly labelled ‘72 dpi’ (containing 72dpi files of approximately 15x10 cm) and ‘300 dpi’ (containing the same images in 300 dpi and approximately 30x20 cm);
Very important: a high quality (better if in full HD) short video of self-presentation about personal and professional experience.
• a digital passport photo;
• a copy of the CV;
• any additional material that might be considered interesting of your work and style;
If any of the above items is missing or late, participation will be denied.
All material must reach our offices by 15th APRIL 2017
In order to avoid delays or losses, the Organisation encourages participants to submit their entries by courier
or by priority mail, specifying that the content of the packages is of no commercial value. Please remember to
declare responsibility for custom fees by ticking the apposite box on the shipment document, as Mittelmoda
will not pay custom fees on arrival and will therefore be forced to refuse the shipment.

In case of selection, all material (sketches, photos etc.) sent by the applicants will be used to create the event catalogue, and all the participants’ portfolios might be used both to introduce participants to fashion houses willing to meet new designers and for communicational and promotional purposes with the press at international level. Therefore, candidates are asked to send material which is suitable for promotional purposes (files saved in jpeg and/or in tiff at 300 dpi). The organisation will not use material which does not correspond to the required format and indications, even when belonging to selected finalists.
Art. 5 - OUTFITS ENTERED
CREATION: The garments and the accessories presented for the competition must correspond exactly to the drawings and to the specifications enrolled and must be made by the designers themselves. Correct and accurate execution of the garments is essential.
CREATION: The outfits presented must be:
FABRICS: Any fabric or material may be used.
STYLE: Designers may choose among the following styles: high-fashion, ready-to-wear, avant-garde/ experimental, street style, jeun créateur.
SEASON: Participants are free to choose the season they prefer.
EXCLUSION-CONTROVERSIES: The Organisation has the right to exclude from the competition those garments or accessories which are not made according to the Competition Rules. The resolution of any possible controversy will be dealt with by an arbitral board consisting of one member from each party and a third member appointed by the Presiding Judge of Gorizia.
Art. 6 - SELECTIONS
In April a Jury will examine all the material received. The results will be promptly published online on www.mittelmoda.com under the ‘News’ section and all selected candidates will be immediately notified by the organizers and will receive a detailed programme, including all the necessary information on their stay during the Mittelmoda finals. Each participant is responsible for providing his/her complete contact details and notifying the Organization of any change. Selected candidates will be invited to take part in the finals and will be asked to create their collections (OUTFITS + ACCESSORIES) to be shown on Mittelmoda’s catwalk in a collective fashion show (date and place to be confirmed - . All the candidates are informed that, in case of selection for the competition finals, they will be asked to promptly provide the organisers with one or two photographs of outfits + accessories belonging to the collection enrolled in the competition and/or any other photographic, video or multimedia material according to the timing and needs requested by the organisers being the signing of these regulations binding in this sense. The Organisation reserves the right to exclude any selected contestant from participation is the above-mentioned rule is not respected. All the works (outfits + accessories) enrolled by the finalists will be presented to the jury and submitted to their judging for the awarding of the prizes. In case of necessity, either to comply with the guidelines of the Fashion Show’s Director or to meet the availability of the models, the Organisation reserves the possibility to decide the exact and ultimate number of outfits per finalist to be showcased on the catwalk. the suggestions of the finalists would be respected as much as possible. Candidates are therefore asked to specify the number of the enrolled sketches and to clearly indicate if menswear or womenswear. Contestants will have to hand in their collections complete with accessories upon their arrival at the Mittelmoda’s location; each outfit will have to be hung on a hanger (with corresponding name and surname) in a plastic dress cover (with corresponding name and surname) together with a photo and/or a sketch of the same outfit. We inform that on a general level it will not be possible to send the collection in advance by
courier.
Art. 7 - JURY AND PRIZES
The contest jury will include renowned national and international fashion experts. Selection criteria will include: creativity, international and feasibility. In the final phase, judging criteria will include the correct execution of the items in accordance with the Competition Rules, too.
THE JURY WILL AWARD THE FOLLOWING ABSOLUTE PRIZES IN CASH:
• FOR THE MOST EXPERIMENTAL COLLECTION
• FOR THE MOST CREATIVE COLLECTION
AND THE FOLLOWING SEVERAL SPECIAL AWARD (These special award is open to all Mittelmoda partecipants):
• LECTRA SPECIAL AWARD: Lectra will award the most innovative look of the enrolled collection; the Lectra Prize will be the Suites Lectra for the industrialization of the winning collection.
COMPETITION BRIEF:
Students will have to create one (1) TOTAL LOOK specifically created for Lectra and will have to be characterized by “a touch of red” (to be consistent with the “Fil Rouge” concept).

Please note that in case of internships and collaborations offered by fashion houses and companies, either by those which are members of the Mittelmoda International Lab and by others which are not, Mittelmoda will offer its support and collaboration for the best management of the contacts and agreements between the parts but it will not be responsible for problems or dissatisfactions which might incur between the parties.
Art. 8 - ACCOMMODATION AND TRAVELS EXPENSES
Accommodation and travels expenses will be covered personally by the finalists themselves.
Art. 9 - OWNERSHIP OF THE GARMENTS
All the garments will remain property of the participants, though Mittelmoda reserves all publishing rights. Besides, the Organisation, upon their authorization, reserves the right to keep the garments and the material sent by the finalists for a maximum of six months, to be able to submit them to the examination of fashion houses, for fashion shows, for press and television features, for exhibitions or other possible occasions aiming at promoting both the event and the designers.
Art. 10 - RESPONSIBILITIES
Mittelmoda International Lab cannot be held responsible for any damage or theft of garments or designs that may occur during transport, selections, or during the event or during the period in which the garments are kept (see Article 9).
Art. 11 - FASHION SHOW
The final award fashion show will take place accordingly to the organization’s agreements with its partners (date and place to be confirmed - the exact address of the location will be communicated through the website to all the selected finalists).
Art. 12 - ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Designers selected for the competition will be sent a detailed programme and all relevant information for their arrival and permanence for the event immediately after the selections in April 2017.
Art. 13 - ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATIONS
The signing of these regulations and of the related application form implies their full acceptance (art.1-13).
